About

Hello! I’m Cantor Michelle Rubenstein. I have served in cantorial and educational roles at congregations in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. I hold a Bachelor’s degree with distinction in all subjects from Cornell University and a Certificate in Jewish Liturgical Music from Hebrew College. I was granted the status of Hazzan by the Cantor’s Assembly upon completion of the Cantorial Internship of the Cantor’s Assembly program and have earned my cantorial commission as a permanent member in good standing. I have completed one extended unit of Clinical Pastoral Education in an interfaith hospital setting.

My Vision: To build and strengthen congregational community and to enrich the Jewish experience of all congregation members and visitors, from youngest to oldest, and from least engaged to most engaged, through inspiring leadership and enthusiasm for Jewish music, Jewish life, and Jewish learning. I believe in making Judaism accessible to all.
